Chris Wyse, The Cult’s bassist and frontman of Owl, is in the middle of a Summer tour – stopping in at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis this Tuesday, August 6th.



For this so-called “Electric 13” tour, Wyse will be playing The Cult’s album Electric in its entirety.
Although this album was a platinium-selling album with hits like “Love Removal Machine” and “Wild Flower”, please note that their breakout song “She Sells Sanctuary” is on their previous album Love (which I suspect will likely be played on this tour).

DURHAM STREETS SUMMER FESTIVAL 2013

Durham City in north east England (not the city in North Carolina) is holding their “Folk in the Garden” live concert series at the Durham Cathedral (see schedule and dates below). Tickets are £6.50 for each show or you can buy the set for £18.



The big draw this year is twice Mercury Music Prize nominated Eliza Carthy, who is performing on August 21st.
