Christmas in November

Erasure’s first ever Christmas album Snow Globe came out this week via Mute Records.



The iconic synth-pop duo (Vince Clarke and Andy Bell) streamed their album on USA Today, with Bell making this comment about the album, “A lot of those dinky toys you buy, the Christmas decorations, some of them are almost really bad synthesizers. It’s a bit like that, but it’s also a bit like being the toys in a children’s toy shop, with all those magical music-box toys.”

For this Hellish holiday season, Hate Eternal’s bassist J.J. Hrubovcak has put together
Death Metal Christmas – Hellish Renditions Of Christmas Classics, a metalized version of the typical cheery Christmas standards.



Composed and produced by J.J., but with help by his brother Mike Hrubovcak (from Monstrosity), the

Houston singer/songwriter DeDe (real name Deborah DeDe Wedekind) has just released a new holiday album called World of Christmas (November 5th), produced by
Grammy-Winner Jeff Bova (Celine Dion’s Falling Into You, 1996) and featuring Bruce Springsteen’s guitar player Tim Pierce, with Huey Lewis and the News’ live bassist John Pierce, and Elton John’s session drummer Denny Fongheiser.



DeDe was so happy to get these musicians, commenting, “All of the folks who made this CD are completely amazing world-class musicians. ”

The writer/actor on “Inside Amy Schumer” and host of the Professor Blastoff podcast, Kyle Dunnigan is releasing a Christmas album called Craig’s All-Star Rockin’ Christmas, You Guys! with music producer/songwriter friend Jim Roach. The xmas album features “Craig” (one of Kyle’s characters that appeared on “Reno 911”).



Guests on the album features Amy Schumer, Jesse Thomas, and more. Although it’s not announced, I’m going to put some money that his girlfriend Sarah Silverman will likely make an appearance?
