Opening the show was Kristyn Leigh, as her stagename M.A.Y. (which stands for Midwest American Youth). The Minneapolis, by the way of Green Bay, seemed used to being a “band in a suitcase”, with everything she’ll need in a suitcase, including the band name on the side of the case and her laptop that helps with background soundtrack and beats for her heavy guitar playing.
Apparently, her big sister Cassandra was in the audience, and she was celebrating her birthday.
After last year’s completely sold-out tour with British rock band Sleep Token, A.A. Williams, is back on tour as headliner, in support of her new album As The Moon Rests.
Highlight of her set was a cover of Placebo’s “Without You I’m Nothing”, which was released last year as a standalone release.
