The Resistance

One of the loudest co-headlining tours of the fall season featuring South African rockers Seether and Memphis band Skillet joined forces to lay waste to the Midland Theater in downtown Kansas City, and we were there to document the event with photos of each band.  

Seether released their recent single, “Judas Mind” as the lead single to their ninth studio album, “The Surface Seems So Far” which was released on September 20th. (via Fantasy Records) with its follow-up single, “Illusions”. 

Skillet is the Grammy®-nominated, 22x platinum, Christian rock band led by the husband-and-wife duo of John and Korey Cooper.  The band recently released new single, “Unpopular” in advance of their upcoming album, “Revolution” which will release independently on November 1st.  

Nashville’s (via Butte, MT) Tim Montana has a new Country rock album out himself, “Savage” with its self-titled single, “Die Today” and “Shut Me Out” also released as singles.  

Royale Lynn is a rising Country metal singer, whose newest single, “Sacrifice” is out now, as a follow-up to previous single, “Death Wish”.  

“We’re really stoked about the upcoming tour — we’ve put together a killer package! It’s always nice to tour with bands that you’re a fan of and that bring it live. Co-headlining with Skillet is going to be a blast; we’ll have to bring our A Game. It should be a great show,” states Seether.

“We’re glad to be back on the road with our friends in Seether again,” says Skillet. “We’ve talked about going out together for a while, but after we played a show together this summer that drew big numbers, we knew it was time.”
