It’s no secret, we had such a great time at the Twin Cities Con in Nov 2023, that I told our group that this is how I end my year, before heading into hibernation.

Last year, the biggest attraction was the Clerks cast, featuring Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson, and Marilyn Ghigliotti, with Comic Book Men’s Ming Chen… but we also was in awed to seeing Jason Lee and Rachael Leigh Cook, as guests.

This year, the big attraction is Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid (both from Star Wars), Lou Diamond Phillips from various films, such as La Bamba, and Grant Gustin (from CW’s The Flash).

If you’re into wrestling: Swerve Strickland, Sting, Danhausen, and Deonna Purrazzo, will appear.

If you’re into video games, Troy Baker will be appearing. He is Joel from The Last of Us, as well as many other video game characters. Also Wes Johnson, who voice characters from my favorite video game, Fallout, is also appearing.

If you’re into comic books, influential comic book creator Howard Chaykin will be there. He wrote and drew my favorite Blackhawks prestige format series… but is probably famous for creating American Flagg. Dan Parent is famous for drawing Archie and Phil Hester did a good run on Green Arrow with writer Kevin Smith.

On top of there, plenty of Anime, Manga, cosplayers, and more. A little something for everyone.

TR/ST (producer/singer/artist Robert Alfons) is headlining the Fine Line on November 10, 2024.

We saw Trust in Dec 2012 and wrote, “As Trust comes on, it’s a whole other beast. Channeling his inner Robert Smith, Robert Alfons flails around like no-one is watching. Deep clouds of fog punctuates each movement. As if he is rising from the cloud of smoke. With his ghastly vocals carrying his movements, as if his body was a marionette. With deep industrial rhythms that set the more somber horror mood.”
