Marc Ribot will be touring in support of Map of a Blue City (New West Records). The tour will stop in at the Cedar Cultural Center, in Minneapolis, on September 5, 2025.

We saw Ribot in August 2023 and wrote, “New York, by the way of New Jersey, Marc Ribot closed out the event. As you may have known, Ribot worked extensively as a session guitarist, famously worked with Tom Waits, Caetano Veloso, John Zorn, Cibo Matto, Elvis Costello, Tift Merritt, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Plant, The Black Keys, Elton John, Neko Case, Joe Henry, and many, many others. His experiences led him to experimenting with many musical genre, free jazz, rock, Cuban, blues, etc. When we caught Ribot earlier in June 2023, he was playing under the Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog (featuring Shahzad Ismaily on bass and Ches Smith on percussion), which was a combination of rock music with experimental jazz.”

Popular band The Black Keys is returning to Minneapolis, playing the Armory, on September 6, 2025.

We saw Black Keys in August 2023 and said, “It’s been over two decades now since Akron childhood friends Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney started in suburban basements, eventually graduating to arenas and amphitheaters and now, their latest release and eleventh studio album, the Grammy-nominated Dropout Boogie. This follows 2021’s Delta Kream, an album filled with covers from their direct influences, notably Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside. Their headlining set, clocking in just over ninety-minutes, was full of smart and simply effective drumming from Carney and riff memorable guitar work from Auerbach, with a setlist reminding everyone how many familiar songs they’ve amassed over these twenty years.”

18-year-old Folk/Country artist born and raised in Hackett, Arkansas, Waylon Wyatt will be headlining the Fine Line, on September 8, 2025. Wyatt was previously in town earlier in March 2025.
