An evening of Twin Cities bands had American Scarecrows headlining at St. Paul’s Turf Club.
American Scarecrows
From those roots, American Scarecrows got its start in 2010 with a renewed sense of purpose. The Minneapolis trio (Seth Davin, Allen Maier and Matthew Broadbent) features songwriting with a simple idea that is built on big choruses and everlasting anthems, referring to the style as Rock and Roll from the North Country.

Communion Clubnight at the Varsity, Minneapolis (14 Oct 2014)
The monthly Communion Clubnight is a great way to check out new and upcoming bands. We previously saw Johnnyswim, The Lone Bellow, Tennis, just to name a few, under the Communion banner. These shows usually also have local shops selling goods at the venue, for last night there were some arts/crafts shop and used $1 books, along with the usual full bar and pasta serving from the Loring Pasta Bar.
