Jeffrey Foucault‘s new album Salt As Wolves was recorded live in just three days in rural Minnesota. The record is described as moving like a vintage Chess record, with an openness and dimensionality that beckons the listener further in.
Salt As Wolves will be out October 16, 2015, via Blueblade Records.

Swedish singer, pianist and songwriter Anna von Hausswolff will be releasing The Miraculous, her third studio album on November 13th via Other Music / City Slang / Pomperipossa.
While you wait for the release, NPR recently previewed the single “Come Wander With Me/Deliverance” on their website.
NPR’s Lars Gotrich wrote: “When you record on one of Scandinavia’s largest pipe organs, the result damn well better be a thing of monstrous beauty and bombast. Anna von Hausswolff took her band and longtime producer Filip Leyman to the concert hall Acusticum in Piteå, Sweden, to work on her third album, The Miraculous. If the first single, “Come Wander With Me/Deliverance,” is any indication, be prepared to meet thy blown-out, organ doom.”

Introducing progressive rock quartet, Wolf Company, featuring Mike Jones (vocals), Jack Hogg (guitar), Nick Farnworth (bass), and Matt Harrison (drums).
The Manchester based band recently debut video single for the song “Your Stain.”
Regarding the single, drummer Harrison said, “The initial idea for Your Stain was sculpted around a couple of bass riffs that were introduced in a writing session. These riffs were then matched with a chorus that Hogg (guitar) had written quite a while prior to that particular session, and when he and Mike (vocals) worked on vocal melodies to compliment what we already had, the rest of the song almost fell into place. The finer details and more intricate elements of the song were put in place when most of the final product had already been written, but from the beginning of the writing process to the end of the nitty gritties, moulding every part and concept together was a relatively smooth journey.”
