Morrissey 2026 European Dates

Fresh off of cancelling the entire Latin America tour for November due to “extreme exhaustion”, Morrissey miraculously recovered to announce a new European 2026 tour dates.

All the immediately comments were negative reactions from his Spanish fans, with some commenting that Morrissey was “allergic to Latin America” and “He’s not tired anymore?”

I have gone on record to say that I do not believe exhaustion was the true reason for the country being cancelled multiple times (three times at least), but it is a financial thing. I can speculate that it could also be working Visa thing or even Morrissey being deny entry? It’s definitely much more than simply being tired.

So what do I think about the 2026 tour? Half of it are going to be make-up or rescheduled dates from 2025, and I think those are safe (at least all the USA dates are generally safe). As for Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, and Luxembourg (unless you’re a buck-tooth girl), I would worry. France is safe, he’s played there several times and he “still cannot speak French.” I would also worry if the dates are within 24 hours, lately I’ve noticed the tour schedule is at least two or three days apart from each other. I get it, I totally understand it, you have to pace yourself (I do the same thing).

I really hope nothing goes wrong for 2026 and I wish all the best to Morrissey and his touring band, I know everyone works so hard to put on a great show. I’ve read reviews and seen photos from their shows, so I know it brings so much joy to the band and their fans.
