Morrissey South American Tour 2025

I should have seen it coming, Morrissey just will not play South America. As of today (November 6), Morrissey cancelled his entire schedule for the remainder of the year – closing out 2025 with a 50% cancellation ratio. That’s a lot. If you had a ticket in hand, there’s a 50/50 that Morrissey will even show up.

As for South America, I’m not surprised. He’s done it three times now, and every time it’s either dengue fever, exhaustion, or extreme exhaustion. Although, sure, exhaustion could be blamed, but I suspect it has more to do with financial issues. I say this, because I’ve read his explanation in 2013 when he cancelled South America (one of many times): “I’m reliably advised, to lack of funding. It’s quite easy to sell tickets, yet impossible to transport band and crew from F to G.”
