I wasn’t originally was going to buy the Mega Construx’s Fallout T60 Power Armor set of five figures, but I gave in and bought it. I thought perhaps I’ll randomly see it in stores, and seeing it in person, I would pull the trigger. Of course, once I realized that this set is actually an Amazon exclusive, I just decided to get it. It arrived the next day at 5am. Unbelievable!

If there is one thing I hate about this set… that it is that it is too expensive. This is $30 for five mini-figures, that’s $6 per Lego-sized figures (about 2 inches tall). I wasn’t also happy with the packaging, it’s a bland design Vault-Tec-ish box. I wish they could have made it more colorful, or have hidden easter egg of the Vault-Boy… but it’s just grey with some words.

Now that all the negatives are out of the way, let’s talk about how great this set it. You get five pre-built Power Armors, each with a different paint job: Vault Tec (blue), Hot Rod Flames (red), Brotherhood of Steel Paladin (grey), Military (green), and Rusted (bronze). Each Figure comes with a different accessory: Nuka Cola dark, Hot Rodder magazine, a mini-nuke, a shotgun, and Sugar Bombs cereal. These are all very highly details, as I have previously mentioned in my Mega Red Rocket Truck Stop Set. In fact, this is a great addition to your Truck Stop, if you have previously purchased it.

The other nice thing about the Power Armor is that they all come with a Power Armor Station, which you’ll have to build yourself. It’s quite easy to do, once you build the first one, the rest will just come naturally. The Power Armor Station also doubles as a great stand to display your Power Armor.

Speaking of display, I might end up buying some sort of rotating turntable so I can display my T60 Power Armor! I am very happy with the details and look of these figures.

I’m so happy to see Mega Construx get the Fallout franchise license (I was a big fan of their Master of the Universe collection), and eager to see what other vehicles and playsets that they are working out. I want to see a girl vault dweller, ghouls, super mutants, deathclaws, etc.!
