Deltron 3030 is back! The dream team consisting of Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan the Automator, and Kid Koala, will be releasing (and touring) in support of Deltron 3030: Event II, to be released October 1st. Their EP, City Rising From the Ashes, came out a few weeks ago (August 13th).

In 2000, I went out to see Deltron 3030, with very little knowledge of the hip-hop band. I went because I wanted to check out Kid Koala, who was, at the time, experiencing some massive buzz in the UK. Instead, the band blew me away that I immediately bought their album (and eventually the instrumental version).

Anyway, like the original self-titled album, Deltron 3030: Event II will feature the usual mad rhymes from Del and various guest vocalists. This time, they manage to get The Lonely Island, Emily Wells, Damon Albarn (Blur), but also, actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Mary Elizabeth Winstead!
