Unfortunately, we just got word that the The Psychedelic Furs tour is indeed postponed, possibly cancelled, due to medical issues. Here is the official statement:
Due to a serious medical issue in the band, the Jacksonville show scheduled for September 2, 2026 will need to be postponed.

Geordie Greep at The Albatross (Sep 15, 2026)
Geordie Greep, the former Black Midi singer/songwriter, will stop by the Albatross (formerly Underbelly), in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 15, 2026.
Black Midi
We saw Black Midi in October 2021 and said, “Possibly the best entrance introduction I’ve heard in a long time, black midi (singer/guitarist Geordie Greep, singer/guitarist Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin, bassist Cameron Picton, drummer Morgan Simpson, keyboards Seth Evans, and saxaphonist Kaidi Akinnibi) came on stage to a boxing-style announcer. The undefeated champion of the world! Although the band is named after the Japanese music genre black MIDI, the band sounds nothing like it. They’re more art-rock/experimental rock. The sound reminds me a little bit of Clinic.”

Popular band Modest Mouse will be headlining the Amp, in St Augustine, Florida, this September 17, 2026.

We saw Modest Mouse in Dec 2022 and said, “Modest Mouse wanted to reflect the makeup of the band when they recorded their seminal album in 1997. So a quartet took the stage with original members, Isaac Brock on lead vocals and guitar and Jeremiah Green on drums, joined by Russell Higbee on bass and Simon O’Connor on guitar. What made The Lonesome Crowded West such an influential masterpiece is because it sounded like nothing before it. Inhabiting chord structures that seemed just a little off allowed the band to explore discordant feelings of isolation. Brock said the album is about the unintended effects of urban sprawl, which at the time was where the band lived in Issaquah, WA, a suburb of Seattle.”
