The Minnesota State Fair is the state fair of the U.S. state of Minnesota. Also known by its slogan, “The Great Minnesota Get-Together”, it is the largest state fair in the United States by average daily attendance and the second-largest state fair in the United States by total attendance, trailing only the State Fair of Texas, which generally runs twice as long as the Minnesota State Fair.
Monday was Senior’s Day at the Minnesota State Fair, and there was no better band (Los Lobos) to play for this demographic than a group of guys that have been together for over fifty years. But that was later and there was still much to do.
The Minnesota State Fair is one the largest in the United States, and as mentioned in the preview, there’s a lot of music there, including nightly events at the Grandstand Stage. Local independent radio station The Current hosted Music on a Stick with a long evening of hip hop music, headlined by local Atmosphere.
